vishe ga netje biti
Another update for the Counter-Strike beta has been released last night including a "fix" for silent running now making the same noise as normal running. Also it is announced that the beta is coming to an end soon.
The silent run is being used for a few years now and every professional gamer is using it as an advantage so far. Silent Running means double-tapping your duck key in order to run more quite and making you look like you're doing a small jump.
This is mostly used to either to get somewhere faster without (or almost without) being heard or to peek around corners. Especially on events it can be a big advantage when the noise around the players is too loud to hear the silent running steps when they would hear normal running.
With the recent update this has been fixed for the Counter-Strike Steamworks Beta with the following change:
"Made ducking only emit quieter footsteps if you duck for a reasonable
amount of time"
So far this change has been reported as the silent run now does the same "loud" steps as normal running. This could be another change to the gameplay after years, but it is not sure if this change makes it into the final release just like the name locking earlier.
